PPI t-shirt contest: you VOTE

When we were looking for some fresh ideas for a PeacePlayers International t-shirt for our volunteers in Jerusalem, we had an idea. Why not have a contest?

So we e-mailed all the Program Directors and Managing Directors of PPI South Africa, Northern Ireland, Cyprus, New Orleans, and the Middle East asking for their ideas. The responses were enthusiastic and creative.

Here are the top t-shirt entries:

1) [back of the shirt] "Share the Court" below the circle of PPI hands embracing (previously used in Northern Ireland)

2) "One..." (by Mike Vaughan-Cherubin & Brian Sigafoos, PPI-ME)
[front] "PeacePlayers International" just the text without the three circles
[back, vertically]
PPI globe circle with "One World" below it
PPI basketball with "One Game" below it
PPI hands circle with "One Team" below it
"PeacePlayers International" at the bottom

3) PPI Languages (by B Shea, PPI-CY)
[front] PPI logo
[back] A) written in English, Arabic, Hebrew, Zulu, Greek, Turkish around the PPI hands circle on the back are phrases/words from each PPI site. There could be a common theme translated to all 6 languages like Family or...

Respect
احترام
כבוד
Hlonipani (or siwumndeni)
σεβασμός ( or Μπορείτε να δοκιμάσετε πάλι)
Saygı
B) and below that a list of the countries PPI works in

4) [back] "Respect the Game" "Respect Each Other" with the PPI hands circle in between (by Mike, PPI-ME)

5) [front] "You down with OPP?"
[back] "Original PeacePlayers" and a small PPI logo plus "since 2000" (by M Quinn, from PPI-ME & PPI-NI fame)

6) [back] "Make your work play, and your play work" with the PPI hands circle "Playing for peace since 2000" (by J Motenko, PPI-CY)

7) [back] "Love is a Ball" with the PPI ball circle (by D "Jaffa" Lasday, PPI-ME)

8) [back] "Follow the bouncing ball" with a map of PPI's 5 global locations and the names of the locations written out below (by D Ourian, PPI-ME)

Right now in our internal PPI-ME voting #2 and #3 are leading the way.

What do you think? What t-shirt would you want to wear?

Submit your VOTE by posting a comment and stay tuned for the results.

[update: FYI the t-shirts are not "for sale" but are give-aways in return for a donation of $20 or more to PPI]

I vote for #3 it covers the global perspective, it shows the simbol of a circle and all PPI around the globe and our ways of showing "what we are" FAMILY (basketPal) and here in ME we really know what family means, they have been taking care of people in PPI family since the beging, and we all love them for it...
